CLEVELAND, TX - The West Fork Gators junior varsity football team defeated Cleveland High School 40-0 on Thursday, led by a dominant defensive performance.
The Gators' defense forced a shutout, highlighted by two interception returns for touchdowns by Arthur Alexander and Larry Scott. Kelton Charles also recorded a sack for a safety.
On offense, Tyler Gilliam, Micah Matroonejad, and Addis Mathew's drove the scoring. Mathew's rushed for two touchdowns, while Rafael Mondragon added a field goal and was perfect on all extra-point attempts.
