MONTGOMERY, TX -
The West Fork JV Gators lost on Wednesday, falling to Montgomery with a final score of 38-13. The defeat moves the team’s record to 5-3 on the season.
The Gators’ offense provided some highlights throughout the contest. Running back Landon Walker first delivered a big pass play, which set up Micah Matroonejad to finish the drive with a short-yardage touchdown run. Walker later broke free for a long touchdown run himself. Quarterback Luis Garcia also stepped in to give the offense multiple opportunities for points in the first half.
The team now looks to bounce back from the road loss. The Gators will play at home next Thursday against Dayton.
