The West Fork Gator Freshman team battled hard in an exciting matchup against the Dayton Broncos, coming up just short in a 36–29 finish.
Leading the offense, Emmanuel Duran showcased his playmaking ability at quarterback, breaking free for an electrifying 65-yard touchdown run. Kaden Ferguson added to the momentum with two long touchdown runs, keeping the Gators in striking distance all game long. Jayden Monge continued to run tough behind a determined offensive line, helping set the tone for a gritty offensive effort. The defense came up with some key stops to aid the offense and field position.
Although the Gators came up just short on the scoreboard, the team’s effort, resilience, and fight were undeniable. Great job, Gators — keep pushing and growing for our season finale against Lake Creek!
