The West Fork JV Gators closed out their season with a thrilling 14-13 victory over Lake Creek on Thursday, securing a winning final record of 7-3. The hard-fought win showcased the team's grit and ability to execute in high-pressure moments.
The scoring was sparked early by a familiar connection, with quarterback Noah Henry delivering a long touchdown pass to Luis Garcia. The Gators took the decisive lead in the second half, relying on a crucial fourth-down conversion where Henry once again connected with Garcia for a clutch 16-yard touchdown pass. Running back Landon Walker also created several big offensive plays throughout the contest, contributing to the team's scoring drives.
