The West Fork 9th Grade Boys and West Fork JV Boys track teams delivered a dominant performance in their season opener, with both squads capturing first place in their respective divisions. Together, the teams racked up an impressive 22 first-place finishes, 15 second-place finishes, and 10 third-place finishes, showcasing not only their talent but also their depth across events. It was a statement-making start to the season and a strong display of the hard work put in during the offseason.
Beyond the medals and personal records, the Gators’ character stood out just as much as their results. The athletes competed fiercely while supporting one another and showing respect and sportsmanship toward their competitors throughout the meet. Leading the way was Raymond Thompson, whose outstanding performance included five first-place finishes and a remarkable 45 points contributed to his team’s total. It was a tremendous day for West Fork track and a proud moment for the entire Gator community!
