2026 Dayton JV Meet Recap

The Dayton JV track meet was a strong showing for the West Fork boys program, highlighted by impressive team finishes in both divisions. The 9th grade boys team earned 2nd place in the freshmen division, while the JV boys also secured a 2nd place finish in the JV division. Together, the two squads combined for an outstanding 10 first-place finishes, 17 second-place finishes, and 9 third-place finishes, demonstrating depth and consistency across events. The competitive drive and teamwork on display reflected the hard work the athletes have put in throughout the season.

Leading the way for the JV team was Landon Walker, who delivered a dominant performance with three first-place finishes in the 4x100 relay, 4x200 relay, and the 100m dash. On the freshmen side, Gregory Rogers stood out with two first-place finishes in the discus and shot put. His shot put throw of 43 feet, 3 inches not only earned him the win but also set a new West Fork High School boys freshmen record, marking a memorable milestone for the program.
