2026 Porter JV Meet Recap

The West Fork boys JV and 9th grade track teams delivered a dominant performance at the Porter JV Meet on March 25, 2026, sweeping both divisions in impressive fashion. The Gators piled up 317 points in the freshman division and 264 points in the JV division, showcasing their depth and talent across all events. In total, West Fork athletes earned 23 first-place finishes, 19 second-place finishes, and 12 third-place finishes, highlighting a well-rounded and competitive showing from the program.

Leading the way for the freshmen was Yared Mufila, who turned in an outstanding performance with four gold medals and one silver medal, making him the top point scorer for his division. On the JV side, Landon Walker paced the Gators with three gold medals and one silver medal, anchoring another strong team effort. With momentum building, the young Gators now set their sights on the District 18-5A Sub-Varsity District Meet next Wednesday at Don Ford Stadium, hosted by NCISD, looking to carry their success into championship competition.
