VARSITY VOLLEYBALL @ HUNTSVILLE TOURNAMENT

The West Fork Gator Varsity volleyball team traveled to Huntsville High School for a 3-day tournament. After going 6-0 through the first two days, the Gators entered the Gold Bracket on Day 3.

The Gators started the day strong against Bryan, winning 25-21, 25-14. At noon, they faced Huntsville and battled through a strong block and scrappy defense. Our front row executed at a 0.380 hitting percentage as a team, while 8 service aces helped the Gators secure a 25-18, 25-14 win over the Hornets.

The championship match against Grand Oaks JV was a tough 18-25, 20-25 loss. The Gators had some great moments but ultimately came up short.

West Fork finished the tournament 8-1, showing tremendous growth in consistency, team chemistry, and energy. #8 Rylie Scimio and #7 Addi Wilcox were named All-Tournament Players! Rylie Scimio and Kailey Pate led the team with 56 kills, followed by Khloe Lilly with 53. Tenly Newsome recorded 86 assists, Kailey Pate added 54, and libero Addi Wilcox kept the defense going with 80 digs!

The Gators return to action Tuesday for our first HOME game against PNG for a rematch! Freshman play at 4:30, JV at 5:30, and Varsity at 6:30. Come out and support!

Varsity will also compete in our final tournament of the weekend at Needville!
