9/2 FRESHMAN GREEN FOOTBALL VS HUFFMAN

The West Fork Gators freshman green football team’s game against the Huffman Falcons has been canceled due to lightning and storms in the area.

The decision was made with the safety of the players, coaches, officials and fans as the top priority. While the team and its supporters were disappointed to miss tonight’s matchup, severe weather made it unsafe to continue with the game.

The cancellation means players, coaches, families and fans will have to wait for another opportunity to see the freshman green Gators in action. The team had been preparing throughout the week and was looking forward to competing under the lights.

Although the cancellation is disappointing for the players and supporters, the Gators will turn their attention toward their upcoming schedule and continue preparing for their next game, against the Clear Lake Falcons.

The West Fork Gators freshman green team will be on the road next week to face the Clear Lake Falcons on Thursday, September 10th, at 6 pm.
