WF VARSITY VS KPARK

It was an exciting night at the Swamp as we opened district play with our first home game against the Kingwood Park Panthers! The stands were full and bringing the energy from start to finish!

With the start of each set, the Gators gained momentum quickly and continued to hold the lead. Strong offensive plays, scrappy saves, and great communication helped this team play as a unit throughout the match.

Khloe Lilly led the offense with 12 kills, followed by Rylie Scimio with 9 and Kailey Pate with 8. Jianna Naranjo made her presence known at the net with numerous touches on the block, helping our defense stay in system. Tenly Newsom and Khloe Lilly each recorded 11 digs, while Addison Wilcox added 10 digs. Tenly Newsom also led the team with 20 assists in the three-set match.

A great start to district play, Gators! We’ll be back in action Friday at Splendora. ????
