The Freshman Gators took Kingwood Park to three sets and fell just short in a back-and-forth battle. There were plenty of moments of greatness, and this group continued to fight and compete through every point.

Maggie Calvert led the team with 5 kills, followed by Sydney McClain with 3 kills. Abigail Dietz led the team with 5 aces, while Maggie added 4 more. Leah Romo kept fighting to keep the ball alive with 17 digs, giving our hitters opportunities to make a play.
Proud of the way this group competed and battled! We have a lot of play this week with our WF Sub-varsity tournament and against Splendora on Friday. There is a lot to build on as we continue to play point for point.
