VARSITY GIRLS XC DELIVERS STRONG SHOWING AHEAD OF DISTRICT

The West Fork Girls Cross Country team hit another gear at the Dobie Longhorn Stampede, highlighted by an impressive performance from the Varsity Girls, who placed 6th overall in a massive 43-school field. Leading the charge was Vivi Washington, who put together a standout race to finish 6th out of 193 runners in her division. Her stellar performance set the tone for a fast day all around, as several runners notched personal bests and season bests. With the District meet coming up next month, the squad is peaking right on schedule and building momentum when it counts most. The Gators will have next week off from competing and be back in action on October 1st at Huffman-Hargrave High School.
