WEST FORK BASEBALL — WEEK 3 FALL LEAGUE ROUNDUP

West Fork Baseball continued its fall development with strong individual performances from both teams. Team 2 recorded 4 runs on seven hits and five walks in Game 2 while striking out 10. Team 1 collected 7 runs on 10 hits, 11 walks, 7 runs, while striking out 6 in Game 3.

TEAM 2 — GAME 2 TOP PERFORMERS

• Reid Powers — Went 1-for-2 with a run scored. On the mound, he struck out three in one scoreless inning while throwing 12 of 17 pitches for strikes and recording first-pitch strikes against four of five batters.

• Logan Johnson — Finished 2-for-2 with a run scored.

• Juan Robles — Went 1-for-1 with a double, two RBIs and a sacrifice fly. He also recorded 10 putouts and threw out a runner attempting to steal.

• Graeme Burkhalter — Pitched a scoreless and hitless inning with two strikeouts.

• Johanny Diaz — Reached base in both plate appearances, going 1-for-1 with a walk.

• Eric Taveras — Drew two walks and scored a run.

TEAM 1 — GAME 3 TOP PERFORMERS

• Ben Elizondo — Went 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. He also pitched a scoreless inning with one strikeout.

• Teaguen Rodriguez — Finished 2-for-3 with a run, an RBI, a walk and two stolen bases.

• Julio Garcia — Reached base in all three plate appearances, going 1-for-1 with two walks. Garcia also pitched a scoreless inning with one strikeout and threw out two runners attempting to steal.

• Tyler Walden — Threw a scoreless and hitless inning with two strikeouts.

• Bryan Nava — Went 1-for-2 with a run, an RBI and two walks while also contributing to a double play defensively.

• Adrian Lizalde — Went 1-for-2 with two RBIs, a walk and one hard-hit ball.
