JV VOLLEYBALL @ HUNTSVILLE SUB-VARSITY TOURNAMENT

Our JV Gators traveled to Huntsville this past weekend to compete in their final tournament of the season! The Gators came out strong on Thursday, facing off against New Caney, Rudder, and Livingston and finishing the day with a perfect 3-0 record!
Friday brought us back to district play against Northbrook. The Gators played a clean and consistent match, coming out on top in two sets with scores of 25-18 and 25-18, continuing their strong start to the weekend.
Back to tournament play on Saturday, the Gators faced Willis. After splitting the first two sets, the Gators had to fight back and find a way to close out the third. Jacey Sarmiento stepped up in a big way, finishing the match with 15 kills and helping lead the Gators to a 25-22 victory. Next up was Huntsville with the championship on the line! The Gators came out clean, aggressive, and ready to compete. Jacey Sarmiento added 8 kills, while Brinlee McLain served up 5 aces to help fuel the offense. The Gators closed out the match with set scores of 25-18 and 25-22 to secure the win!
With that victory, the JV Gators finished the tournament with a perfect 5-0 record and brought home the GOLD! This weekend was a true display of grit, intensity, and the fight for every ball, every rally, and every set. What a way to close out tournament season!
