9/29 JV VOLLEYBALL VS SPRING WOODS

Another dominant night for our JV Gators as they took care of business against the Spring Woods Tigers with a complete shutdown victory, 25-9 and 25-13!

The Gators set the tone early and continued to apply pressure throughout the match. To finish the first set, Mikayla Iglesias went on a 9-point service run, including 5 aces, to extend the Gators’ lead and put the Tigers on their heels.

In the second set, our hitters came alive, finishing with 11 kills contributing to the 15 kills overall! Anani Henry led the way with 5 kills and an impressive .625 hitting percentage. With Brinlee McLain back in action running the offense, she did a great job distributing the ball and putting our hitters in position to execute.

Defensively, the Gators continued to battle for every ball, finishing with 14 successful digs from the back row. Hailey Cox also made her presence felt at the net, protecting the front row and helping keep Spring Woods out of rhythm.

With the win, our JV Gators finish the first round of district play 5-1! This group continues to grow, compete, and get better with every match.
