FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL FALL BREAK RECAP

Our Freshman Gators wrapped up fall break with two hard-fought matches! On Tuesday, 10/6, the Gators hosted the Splendora Wildcats and battled through three competitive sets, ultimately coming up short, 23-25, 25-15, and 23-25. Despite the result, our Gators continued to compete and fight for every point!

The Gators bounced back against the New Caney Eagles with a clean 2-set victory, 25-20 and 25-18! Our team came together and worked hard in all areas of the game, finding ways to create opportunities and execute when it mattered most.

Against New Caney, our Gators were strong and consistent at the net, finishing with 13 total kills! Behind the service line, our serving game kept the pressure on the Eagles with 10 total aces. Defensively, our Gators continued to battle, finishing with 28 digs and working hard to keep the ball alive and give our offense opportunities to respond.

It was great to see this group respond, compete, and put together a strong performance to close out fall break. Every match is another opportunity to grow, learn, and get better, and we are excited to keep building on this momentum!

Next up, our Freshman Gators return to The Swamp this Tuesday for our PINK OUT game against the Northbrook Raiders! Come out, wear pink, and support your Gators!
