10/16 JV VB VS PORTER

JV Gators Battle Their Way to a Homecoming Win!

WHAT A MATCH! Our JV Gators and the Porter Spartans put on a true battle for Homecoming, with both sides bringing incredible energy, heart, and effort from start to finish! The Gators came out on top in an intense three-set match, winning 27-25, 20-25, 25-23!

The third set was one for the books! Down 17-20, our Gators dug deep and fought their way back. Yari Flores came up with a clutch ace, followed by TWO more from Anani Henry! With the score all tied up and Anani behind the service line, the Gators continued to execute. Sofia delivered a kill, and Paris finished it off with the GAME-WINNING kill to seal the victory!

Brinlee Mclain did an excellent job spreading the offense, helping our Gators finish with 34 kills and 55 digs, led by Mikayla Iglesias and Mia Mitchell with 14 digs each! The fight, determination, and teamwork these girls showed made this an incredible win to watch.

With this victory, our JV Gators move to 9-2 in district play! We will wrap up the season next Friday against Spring Woods as we celebrate Parent Night! Let's finish strong, Gators!
