The West Fork Gators JV football team continued its strong play with an impressive 28–14 victory over Katy Tompkins on Wednesday, October 28, at Morton Ranch High School. The Gators put together a strong all-around performance, combining a productive rushing attack with another outstanding effort from the defense to earn an important win as the season moves toward its final week.
Leading the way offensively was running back Jaron Brown, who turned in a dominant performance on the ground with three rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Bryce Nichols added another rushing touchdown of his own while connecting on several key pass completions to Caleb Harris and Alonzo Williams. Jamarien Bryant also provided an explosive play on the ground, giving the Gator offense another big-play threat throughout the contest.
The Gator defense continued to set the tone with another stellar performance, led by Emmanuel Duran, Mason Quintinilla, and Jayden Cashaw. Their efforts helped the Gators put together another strong defensive showing and secure the 28–14 victory over the Katy Tompkins Falcons.
With the win, the Gators now turn their attention to a huge matchup against Lake Creek on Thursday, November 5. West Fork will host the Lions at 5:00 p.m. at Gator Field, with at least a share of the district championship on the line. The Gators will look to finish strong, protect their home field, and accomplish a major goal as they head into this important district showdown. It's time to pack Gator Field and show your support!
