VARSITY VOLLEYBALL @ NEEDVILLE TOURNAMENT

The West Fork Gator Varsity volleyball team traveled to Needville High School for a two day tournament and for the last varsity tournament of the 2026 season! Starting Saturday in the silver bracket, with a 2-1 record from pool play on Thursday.

The Gators started the day strong against CE King, winning 25-6, 25-17. At noon, we faced Paetow and battled through strong middles and an intimidating block. We fell short in finishing the rallies and lost 16-25, 20-25.

The 3rd place game, the Gators battled it out against Sealy. The first game was point for point with the Gators pulling ahead in the last three points earning a win 25-22. The second set, with the momentum, the Gators took control and finished 25-16!

West Fork finished the tournament 4-2, showing tremendous growth in intensity, team chemistry, and supporting one another. Khloe Lilly led the team with 34 kills with Rylie Scimio and Kailey Pate following with 27 kills respectfully. Tenly Newsom recorded 58 assists and Addi Wilcox with 47 digs.

The last week of preseason games is coming up! The gators are facing Montgomery on Tuesday and Barbers Hill on Friday.
