9/11 VARSITY VB VS SPLENDORA

It was a great night on the road as the Gators traveled to Splendora for our second district game! The Gators came out strong, taking the first two sets 25-14 and 25-20 before Splendora fought back to take the third 22-25. Our Gators responded in the fourth set, finishing the job with a 25-16 win to earn our second district victory!

Strong offensive plays, tough defense, and great communication helped this team stay composed and finish the match strong. After dropping the third set, the Gators came out ready to respond and took control of the fourth from the start.

Khloe Lilly had a heck of a game, leading the offense with 17 kills, followed by Kailey Pate with 16. Tenly Newsom and Kailey Pate did a great job feeding our hitters with 19 and 17 assists, respectively. Our middle blockers, Jianna Naranjo and Autumn Sanderson, worked hard defensively at the net, funneling the ball right to Addison Wilcox and Addyson Nash, who made clean saves and kept rallies alive.

A great team effort and a strong response when we needed it most! This was our first program sweep, with all three levels earning wins! We are excited for many more to come!
