JV VB @ WF-SUBVARSITY TOURNAMENT

What a weekend for our Gator JV Volleyball team! The Gators competed in a two-day tournament and battled their way to a 2nd-place finish, ending the weekend with a 5-1 record!

After going 3-0 on Day 1, the Gators were right on track for a championship appearance. They opened Saturday against Tarkington, competing with confidence and executing cleanly on the offensive side of the net. The Gators then faced Huntsville in a hard-fought battle. After swapping points and battling through three sets, the Gators came out on top 2-1, punching their ticket to the championship game!

In the championship match against Huffman, it was a back-and-forth battle from start to finish. Our defense was all over the court, making incredible saves and refusing to let a ball hit the floor. The Gators fought hard, but were unable to finish the match, falling just short of the tournament championship.

Despite the tough loss, this group has so much to be proud of! 2nd place and a 5-1 record is a great weekend for our Gators! ????
